I was watching the movie Rio I wondered, “Is the blue macaw real?” So I looked it up (it’s real) it lives in Brazil in the rain forest. It is the largest Macaw at over 3 feet. It is mainly blue with some yellow and a gray beak. It is endangered from trapping for pets and destruction of home land. It is also called the Hyacinth Macaw which mean blue.
